Wings Enterprises is a fully permitted iron mine with 38 years of operating history: formerly as Pea Ridge. Today the mine is currently producting specialty iron oxides (+70% Fe, 98% magnetic) and is reopening as a multi-product, value added producer of chemical quality and specialty iron oxides, pig iron, rare earth oxides and other valuable byproducts. Wings will be the only domestic producer for all of these products.

North East United States and Canada
Average combined reserve life for all of the NE Iron Range, including Canada is approximately 40 years. The reserve quality also continues to decline throughout the N.E. Iron Range as total Fe ore grade continues to fall and while of the best ore is bound by seasonal shipping issues. Source: USGS

China

China recently completed an internal reserve estimate for all known mainland iron ore deposits. The expected life for all known reserves was estimated at 20 years. Souce: Bejing - 2006 Blue Book
